If you want a Paris room that takes New York, Chicago and Detroit house as a serious inheritance, this is it. Afshin Assadian founded Djoon in 2003, and his son Adrien now helps with the programming. The setting is a loft in the 13th with big windows, and line 6 of the Métro runs past them on its raised track. Inside there is a ceiling fresco and a sunken dancefloor ringed by seating, which means people can sit down and still feel involved. Visit Paris Region describes it as recreating the New York loft spirit, and the booking backs that up: Glenn Underground, Theo Parrish, Osunlade and Delano Smith have all played. The music is soulful, afro and deep house with disco and soul around it. No capacity or sound system details have been published that we could find. Assadian himself still DJs at the club, most recently on the listings at The Djoon Experience in September 2026. It is a place where older people dance properly.
