- 24-hour licensed techno and house in a former dental school
A brutalist building in Amsterdam Nieuw-West, put up from 1966 into the early 1970s as a dental clinic, which housed the Academic Centre for Dentistry until 2010. RADION has run in the former classrooms since 2014, as part of a wider cultural breeding ground, and in 2015 it received a 24-hour opening permit from the city. Club nights run Friday and Saturday from 23:00, usually until 07:00. The sound is worth the tram ride. The main room has a rebuilt VOID Stasys system on Powersoft amps, and the upstairs room, the Bovenkamer, uses vintage Prof Sound horn stacks over L-Acoustics subs, a combination that house heads will want to hear for themselves. With De School closed since January 2024 when its lease ran out, this is the Amsterdam room that takes that kind of programme most seriously. The city extended its operating permit in July 2026. It released its first compilation album in January 2026. No capacity has been published.
