A London festival with a stage under the M4. The Bridge, an open-air dancefloor beneath the concrete flyover at Boston Manor Park in Brentford, is the reason people talk about it: the motorway gives the system a roof and throws the bass back at you. The Woods sits to the other side, in the trees. Sources point to a 2016 start, with a 2017 interview calling that year the second edition, though the 2026 billing as a tenth edition makes the count a bit uncertain. The 2023 edition was cancelled, with industrial action blamed. For J2 X in 2026 the organisers announced a format reset around just those two stages, spread over 25 and 26 July and 2 August, with fabric taking part in an open-air collaboration. The booking leans techno, with Jeff Mills and Nina Kraviz among the 2026 names, but house gets a look in. Summer 2027 is all that the festival's site offers so far, so we have left the dates blank. Traffic noise is occasionally part of the set.
