Les Quais are Yanis Belkacem and Théo Marchand, who met working the bar and the door at I.Boat in Bordeaux. They started producing together in a lock-up in Bacalan, near the old submarine base, with Yanis on saxophone.
"Bassin à Flot" (2023) was planned as a B-side and moved to the A-side after the test pressing, at the suggestion of Camille Aubert. It was repressed four times in a year and remains the label's biggest record. "Chartrons" (2024) and the album "Garonne" (2025) followed, and "Cap Ferret" is due in 2027.
In February 2026 they wrote about I.Boat's liquidation for the label's news page. Recent dates include Les Plages Électroniques in Cannes, Rex Club, Badaboum and Amsterdam Dance Event.
